Closing Banquet
The closing banquet will be a highlight, a moment filled with emotion, recognition and inspiration.
We will proudly unveil the 2026 next generation intern – a young ambassador whose commitment and vision embody continuity, dynamism and future ambitions for the entire fruit and vegetable sector.
This banquet will also be an opportunity to pay tribute to a pillar of our industry , Sylvain Terrault , president and co-owner of GenV. A visionary and determined entrepreneur, president and co-owner of GenV, a pioneering family business in greenhouse cultivation in Quebec. A numbers man turned field man, he first joined the company in 1987, before climbing the ranks to become co-owner with his family in 2008. With audacity and rigor, he transformed a regional company into a North American leader, expanding production to more than 300,000 m² of greenhouses spread across several sites.
Thanks to his long-term vision, GenV now grows millions of fresh vegetables each year. Recognized for his perseverance, strategic thinking, and belief in the next generation, Sylvain has grown GenV without ever losing sight of the human and family values that drive it.
This banquet is therefore intended to be a celebration of our common achievements , an evening where past, present and future intertwine to together draw an ever more promising future for our sector.
